All Sections: Complete the following problems in your notebook:

1. A compound contains 36.48% Na, 25.41% S, and 38.11% O. Find its empirical formula.

2. Find the empirical formula of a compound that contains 53.7% iron and 46.30% sulfur.

3. (This one is tricky tricky but you can do it! Remember that you need your percentages to add up to 100 - and you CAN get that with the information given. Don't forget what you know about mole calculations and kick this problems butt!)
A compound containing sodium, chlorine, and oxygen is 25.42% sodium by mass. A 3.25 g sample give 4.33 x 10^22 atoms of oxygen. What is the empirical formula?
